Yum!

"I frequently go to La Creperie. Every time I go there I recieve delicious, fast, and fancy food. The service is fantastic! I also love the decor, it really makes me feel like I am at a 5 star restaraunt in Paris!"

Cons: NO Cons, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!

French Crepes with a flair

"The crepes here are simply delicious and huge! They have perfect desert crepes like the "Romeo et Juliette" that is filled with fresh strawberries, bananas and Nutella. Their savory crepes are just as mouth-watering.

To round out their menu, they also have soup, salad, other entrées, a Sunday Champagne brunch, and more. Also, if you like your food to be 'pretty', their presentation is flawless. If you've never tried a crepe before, make sure your first time is here."

Pros: Huge portions of savory food
Cons: It's in Belmont Shores so be ready to spend time trying to find parking

Great Food, Friendly Service

"La Creperie is a favorite of mine out of all the restaurants on 2nd Street. The wait can be up to 30 minutes at the busiest time, but there is a comfy lounge seating area so you can relax and browse the menu. The decor is slightly over-the-top with wall sized mirrors, leopard print chairs, and giant chandeliers; but it makes for a very bohemian atmosphere.

There's a window to the kitchen on the back wall where patrons seated in that area can watch the crepes made fresh by hand. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. I prefer going on Mondays when bottles of wine are 1/2 off. It's slightly less crowded, but still lively especially for being early in the week.

The place smells lightly of garlic fries, which I absolutely recommend trying (you won't be disappointed!). The food is great, but again, the wait can be kind of long. Definitely save room for a desert crepe. My favorite is the classic crepe suzette. Overall, Le Creperie has a very pleasant atmosphere, enjoyable food, and no rush service so you can sit back and socialize over a bottle of wine or two!"

Pros: Ambience, Friendly Service, Good food
Cons: Long wait, Crowded, Can be loud

"The wait is always long, but it's also worth it. I love the paninis and garlic fries. The crepes are both sweet and savory. Great menu selections. GO!!"

"Oooh! I was just here last week! It was my first time and the crepes were delicious! I had this crepe with bananas inside, savored in rum and brown sugar topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. We got there at 5:50p and Happy Hour was from 3 - 6p so some of the crepes were under $10 heehee.

I wanted to try the other crepes, but I wasn't that hungry, and I was told the crepes were big plus it was kinda hot, so I ordered the dessert crepe, Martinique. Unfortunately, I eat very slowly, so the whipped cream, ice cream with the rum and brown sugar sauce ended up mixing together and I had to get a spoon. My advice: if you're going to order a dessert crepe with ice cream, eat it quickly.

There were 3 of us and all the crepes we ordered tasted great. The decor wasn't bad either. I like that you can see how the crepes are made thru the glass windows with the people who make the crepes. I guess there's sometimes a live performer? but I didn't get to see it cuz the guitarist kept going outside to check on something. Oh yeah, we parked in the street elsewhere cuz there's no parking near the place. Anyway, I'll definitely be back for more!!"

"I have been here a few times & always liked what I have chosen. Their breakfast crepes are good & I like the potatoes they serve with them. On my most recent visit I got the carbonara, & man was it tasty. It was seriously delicious! My friend got the Parisian. He said it was good but liked mine better.

Most definitely a place I would keep visiting if I still lived in the area!"

- Amy M., Seattle, WA

Love it!

"This is one of my favorite places at Belmont Shores. I'm glad they moved to a larger location, but still it's packed! The crepes are delicious, both sweet and savory (but I'm partial to the sweet ones). Have it al la mode!

It is a little pricey for a quick afternoon "snack", but great for a nice treat. Fun place to linger with friends."

Pros: delicious crepes and drinks
Cons: tough to find parking, may be a wait

"One of my favorite restaurants, hands down.

My Favorite Crepe: French Riviera. My Favorite Dessert Crepe: Romeo and Juliet. I drool just thinking about it."

Paris would be Proud

"These are the most delicios crepes I have ever had. My husband and I went to Paris and got engaged. When we got home, we thought it would be neat to try out La Creperie to relive some of Paris. We were pleasantly surprised.

The sauces on the crepes are unbelievable...we will never be able to eat a crepe anywher else because this place sets the bar high. We also loved the dessert crepes...our favorite "Romeo and Juliet" - Nuttella, strawberries and bananas.

This is our favorite restaraunt in Long Beach by far. It is a definite must visit when we have friends come to visit."

Pros: You can watch then make the crepes
Cons: limited space...very popular...might be hard to get a seat

"OMFG (and that's as much swearing as it'll go for me!). This place is absolutely WONDERFUL! Aside from my crepe experiences in Paris the only other experiences I've had were in little creperie shops where they made the basic savory and sweets.

This place takes you to a whole 'nother level! We opted to sit out on the patio but, after seeing the inside while heading to the bathroom, I was a bit disappointed I didn't sit inside. The decor was so eclectic, stereotypical French funk. I would've spent just as much time taking pictures as I was eating! Service was impeccable and super-friendly.

Cousin and I shared a French Riviera savory crepe, which consisted of chicken, artichokes, and tomatoes in a sherry basil cream sauce. It was so delicious! The crepe was not soggy from being immersed in the sauce and chicken wasn't too dry.

For dessert we each got our own and shared. I got the Napolean and she got - I believe it's called - Chocolate Chocolate. The Napolean is a creme brulée crepe. The inside had strawberries in the creme brulée custard and the outside has the wonderful carmelized shell. We added ice cream to our crepes and were very surprised to get two scoops when normally one would expect only one. Cousin's crepe was a chocolate crepe with strawberries and Nutella. Both were absolutely divine, although if I had to choose I would go back for the Napolean. Such a fun concept and I love still being able to "crack" into my creme brulée!

After dining on this wonderful meal at 11 a.m. I was expecting to be hungry again by at least 1ish since I am 6 1/2 months preg. Surprisingly, I still felt satiated until at least 3 or 4! I never thought crepe could stick to your ribs! It's a shame I don't live in this area. It'll have to be one of those special trips whenever I'm down south."
